Darkness in the Night
Darkness in the Night is a fast moving one act farce in 9 scenes for four actors: two female and two male (although this is flexible). It's set in an abandoned house at night and the action takes place in two empty, dark rooms – one with a door. Funny and absurd, this surreal adventure challenges the actors to deliver Rob Hockley's remarkable wordplay and to engage in the physical comedy required to fill an empty set! It is suitable for older teenagers or young adults. The play has been designed for a minimum of stage dressing and works very well in one act competitions where it has been performed very successfully.
If you are giving a performance of this play you must purchase a performing rights licence, available below.
