The Monologue Pack

by Clive Hulme

A superbly comprehensive scheme of work which, through 30 inter-connected yet stand-alone monologues, explores the relationships between members of a school community. The clear and detailed lesson plans take you through the performance stage of the monologues, then lead into the devising stage where the characters start to interact. The pack contains 30 monologues, lesson plans divided into units, homework tasks, links to other works, teacher notes, handout sheets for students (including line-learning and performance tips) – everything you could possibly want is here and enough for at least a half term’s work, probably more, depending on your group size. A lesson within the pack was observed by OFSTED who described it as ‘spine-tingling’. This material can be used to create some fabulous online performances for schools and drama groups and will work well in the socially-distanced classroom.
